The Day Of The Greatest Awakening

Restore... revive... awaken us again, O God our Savior, and put away Your displeasure toward us... so that Your people may rejoice in you? Show us Your unfailing love, O LORD, and grant us Your salvation. I will listen; You promise peace to Your people -- but let them not return to folly. Your salvation is near those who fear him, that Your Glory may dwell in our land. Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. You will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before You and prepares the way for Your steps." ~Psalms 85

The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. ... and a voice said to him, "What are you doing here?" (1 Kings 19:11-13)

Awakening comes at times when it seems that the church is at it's lowest ebb. The power of revival is realized that within a very short period of time, the impact of revival reverberates through every aspect of culture. The King is visiting His people, and His presence is found everywhere. In ever-growing concentric circles, revival claims hearts, lives, churches, communities, cities, regions, and eventually nations. It is this desire to see the presence of the Lord in every area and walk of life that stirs God's people. It seems that it is during those periods of time that the world actually is faced with the reality of Jesus, the cross, and the resurrection. It is during those seasons that the world becomes "still and knows that He is God!"

I venture to say that the heart cry of most of the church is to see the day when literally thousands of people are swept into the Kingdom of God. It is our desire to see the Church be what Jesus said it would be, "the light of the world", when this deep, dark godlessness in society is strangled by the Glory of the Church.

Storms, fires, earthquakes, tsunamis, tragedy, crisis, and devastation have always been the place where the Healing Grace of God meets the brokenness of man...

If the 1st Great Awakening were to happen today... 50 million would be saved...

If the 2nd Great Awakening were to happen today... 100 million would be saved....

If the 3rd Great Awakening 121 million out of our population of 300 million ... would be saved...

The evidence of a true Awakening is that it is rare for a person to not have encountered the Power of God! Welcome to the Greatest Awakening!

That day is upon us. The Day of The Greatest Awakening... the giant is about to wake up... and we are a part of this most awesome move of God in the History of Mankind!
