It Is Time!

will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to
her; the appointed time has come... It is time for you to act, O LORD;
your law is being broken... Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap
the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is
time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers righteousness on you...
For the revelation awaits an appointed time...”

“… I just wanted you to know that the woman with the steel plates in her
knees and deteriorated hips was healed! Oh, and several people have been
continuing to go out to Wal-Mart’s and other places and are seeing the
Lord move there!” The stories continue to build…. His Stories… the
“Stuff!”
In various meetings throughout the country I have noticed something
incredible… people are moving beyond frustration into destiny! Everywhere
I turn I am hearing “it is time!” and the evidence of that is incredible!
Yesterday in some meetings in Massachusetts the power of the Lord was
there to heal! A man who had severe disabilities and tumors that caused
him to shake experienced the touch of Jesus and began crying out and
praising Him as the Lord touched his body and healed him. The ministry
began with people calling sick friends and relatives on cell phones…. and
the power of God began healing people on the other end of the lines! One
woman experienced such a profound healing on the phone that she grabbed
her mother and made her way to church where we were meeting where her
mother was saved and healed of pain in her stomach but also blindness that
had resulted from glaucoma. Another man who had just had an operation on
his knee testified the pain was completely gone…. Others experienced the
touch of Heaven on their bodies as God released His Awesome power over his
people. Another woman was saved as she watched the events taking place and
realized this was a different “religion” than she was familiar with… this
one was real… God was real!
But it doesn’t just stop with the meetings…. It’s way beyond that.
Restaurants are becoming touch points of God’s power as waiters and
waitresses who receive ministry ask, “How did you know that about me?”
“What do you believe?” Grocery stores, gas stations, at work, at home, at
school, at play… the Kingdom of Heaven is being released!
I believe “IT IS TIME!”
In a recent meeting in Spokane Washington two people at different times
saw John G. Lake hand me a pocket watch and say “It is time!”
For many years I have believed that God is going to move in the Western
World to the same or greater degree than He is moving in the third world
countries! I have believed that there was coming a time when we would not
simply hear reports of those who were doing the stuff and rejoice in it….
but we ourselves would be so immersed in the Power of God that the same
types of events would occur here as occur over there!
We are beginning to see it… because “It is time!’

I hate titles… I think particularly in our western mindset we have used
titles to manipulate and exaggerate the anointing on our lives… I don’t
need papers, position, or power… I need Him!
Over the past several years the Lord has been breathing some things into
my spirit that have shifted my understanding of the giftings that God is
placing on His Church.
Whereas the prophetic has spoken of those things that God desires to do
and those places of destiny that God desires to bring us. Apostolic
anointing takes us there… it brings us into the operation of that which
God intended for us. It is not simply another word for church planter,
missionary, or someone who sees God doing powerful things. The anointing
that God is wanting to loose to His Church is the anointing that will
bring her into the fullness of purpose and destiny now!
Joshua carried an apostolic anointing… he led the people through the
obstacle, the Jordan, that prevented the people from experiencing the
promises of God. Many may have walked along the borders of the Jordan and
seen the future destiny… but it took one who by faith ventured into the
promised land regardless of the opposition or obstacles.
In the New Testament Paul reveals the heart that he has for people
repeatedly calling to them to complete the purposes of God… and willingly
laying his life down for the purposes of destiny being fulfilled in
others!
I’ve been asked, “Is it time because these are the final days?” No, it’s
time, because
God has always intended for it to be time. All the way back in the early
church they believed they were in the final hours of this age… but yet it
wasn’t. Time isn’t about a specific generation… time is about an “I got
it” generation. It is faith that will release the purposes of God… as it
always has been. The “It is Time” we have been hearing is not simply about
God saying it is time, and now you can passively wait and see what I do…
it is time for God’s people to recognize that “it is time!” The book of
Romans declares that creation is waiting for the “it is time” people! All
of history is waiting for the release of heaven through those who are His
sons! It’s not about rolling on the floor, it’s about getting out the
door!
The release of the Father in these days is you and me! We carry the
promise and we release the fulfillment through faith! It’s not spiritual
manipulation…. It’s the fact that once you have been empowered by the Holy
Spirit… you now have the authority to act under His anointing. Authority
implies activity, not office as we have been so shamefully taught. It is
time… time for the dead to rise… time for the blind to see…. time for the
world to bow their knee. It is time for the people of God to arise and
apprehend that for which God laid hold of them!
It is time!
